Improve quality, decrease costs
OASIS is an engineering software tool by Empower Operations designed to iterate and enhance products before manufacturing process. With a minimal learning curve, our industry partners have experienced 5%-10% decrease in costs and up to 65% improvement in quality.
Integrate and Optimize
OASIS has powerful parameter-less algorithms that can efficiently optimize complex and high-dimensional problem spaces. With OASIS, selecting algorithms and parameters is a thing of the past.
OASIS makes it easy to leverage your simulation models for design automation. Setup your simulation tools with OASIS for design automation in 3 easy steps.
Visualize and Explore
OASIS offers a visualization toolkit that is tailor-made for exploring complex problem spaces. The toolkit features interactive Parallel Coordinates, Surface Scatter, and Convergence plots that are tightly integrated and feature rich.
Make Better Decisions
OASIS offers a supplier/concept selection module that makes deciding between many suppliers and concepts transparent and easy.
We were commissioned by General Motors to reduce assembly deficiencies through optimizing the locations for a 10-part subassembly. Read the full case study to find out how, due to the superior dimensional analysis, we were able to improve the quality by 65%, with the entire process taking approximately eight hours.
Meet The Team
OASIS is a brainchild of one of the leading design automation teams in the world.
Dr. Gary Wang
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Wang has more than 20 years of research and development experience in the area of design automation. His research laboratory, Product Design and Optimization Laboratory (PDOL), is recognized as one of the world leaders in the area of simulation-based design optimization.
George Cheng is a PhD student in the Product Design and Optimization Lab (PDOL) at Simon Fraser University, where he is involved in research and development of simulation-based optimization methodologies as well as leading the development of the flagship software tool OASIS (Optimization Assisted System Integration Software).
Chief Software Architect
Geoff Groos is close to graduation from the School of Computing Science at Simon Fraser University. He worked as a Software Developer at iQmetrix, where he developed an integration piece between the point-of-sale system RQ4 and Sprints activation Services, as well as the iQmetrix Product Library. He was also a recipient of the NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA).
